Weird. All the event companies I know only have brands in stock that clients ask for. So, that would be Pioneer, because clients don’t ask for DenonDJ, Numark or Rane.
Are you saying you decide what clients will use? We need more of those!
What’s incredibly baffling to me is, The Djay Pro version shown at NAMM being touted as ‘very early’ Beta. For a unit that’s been built and done for quite a while, that makes no sense at all. I know they’ve been pretty tight with AT lately, but I hope the relationship is still good between Algoriddim and InMusic. Because (to me) things haven’t been rosy with the Performer and Djay with several problems. STEM triggering delays and screens dropping out being two of them. (I also experienced other issues). Definitely glad to see the System One is Class Compliant whereas the Performer is not (also baffling).
Don’t forget that there are often intermediaries in each country between InMusic and the retailers.
It’s quite possible, therefore, that the suppliers write the product descriptions and that each retailer simply copies the supplier’s product description.
However, I find it hard to believe that suppliers write their product descriptions without InMusic approving them.
It’s also possible that the suppliers simply use the product description provided by InMusic.
InMusic’s communication is sometimes a bit vague/ambiguous, leaving room for numerous interpretations. We saw this again with System One and their “stems on board,” where they don’t specify that it will be “pre-rendered on board.” This leads some potential buyers to believe it might be “rendered on board on the fly,” when it’s actually more of a waiting list/preparation process for the stems being rendered in the background.
Is this communication deliberately kept vague to boost sales, when it would be so easy to clear up any misunderstanding with “pre-rendered on board”? This is a legitimate question.
Since the same causes often produce the same effects, it’s undoubtedly a matter of time before we see complaints from people who feel misled by the wording, which will inevitably arise sooner or later.
I really like the Prime Go, so I was thinking of adding the SC6000 to my setup.
Now they’re sold out everywhere, and the current situation is making me hesitate.
I have a theory that inMusic wanted to spotlight Rane and Akai on the Namm show. Im sure we will know in a short time whats happening with Denon DJ

For large events We only have subcontractors, never direct! In those cases, it’s Pioneer 99% of the time.
We handle smaller jobs ourselves with our own team, or when it comes to technical consulting for smaller clubs or bars… yes, I’ve often recommended Denon DJ there.
And it’s readily accepted because it’s much cheaper than Pioneer and can do at least the same.
But I have to decide how we manage our inventory/budget. Denon DJ is clearly committed to Rane, but hasn’t said a single word about the existing Prime/SC series.
You can’t for the moment.
InMusic for correctness. They haven’t said anything about Numark either. (And compared to Akai, no Moog or Headrush news either.)
Engine is the common platform for DJ related devices. They’ve showed where Engine is going.

I’ve just done a quick search here and there are multiple retailers in the UK that have stock.
The same retailers who leak new devices and write incorrect info, I think.

It does seem there is some availability in Europe with the SC6000. I haven’t been by the brick-and-mortar store for a while, but DancePlanet in Porto, PT, still have them in the catalog ready for delivery.
But, SC6000 only seem to be available from dubious retailers in the USA, as listed in Google Shopping. Who wants to buy DJ Equipment from Rubadub? The Denon DJ locate a dealer refers to Guitar Center and Sam Ash. Neither of those have new units in their catalog. Major sellers such a iDJNow, DJ Techtools, The DJ Hookup, B&H Photo, Adorama, Amazon, Sweetwater don’t list them.
Speaking of “dubious”. Searching for “Denon DJ” in Amazon.com (USA), the first hit is this suspiciously low-priced “new” Prime 4+.
The seller, dangshanxianyifengfentiaoyouxiangongsi, has two reports by customers that they never received the product. Amazon replied" “The fulfillment issues associated with this order were not due to the seller”. It is disappointing that Amazon US will allow such presumed deceptions to exist.
There are also super low priced SC Live 4 listed by Jiashixing Trading.
As for New Gear in 2026, the Rane System One is a great step in the right direction for InMusic. I think the last real new Denon DJ products released, not counting plus and white models, were the SC Live 4 and 2 in November 2022. Akai and Rane are making quasi-regular product releases. It would be great to have some reassurances from marketing that there are products forthcoming in the Denon DJ lineup, sooner than later.

Cut the discontinued crap, even Googles AI search starts to repeat it, with zero official references, only this forum and reddit, while there is plenty of stock around here in europe…
You’ve gotta admit, there has been a huge supply chain failure in Denon’s part if the devices have not been discontinued.
That would not be the first manufacturer and the first device where this happens. As long as the product is being marketed on InMusics website it is not discontinued…
Whatever may be, this topic is damaging InMusics reputation, based on nothing. I am the first to admit certain features are missing, or are implemented in a wrong or buggy way, but criticism based on thin air is a whole other level…
Yes, this model being discontinued has popped up regularly year after year and has often been proven wrong.
I talked with some sellers here in the Netherlands and in Germany (like Bax shop and Thomann and others), this is a common practice in sales. They say this, as their idea of selling what is in stock instead of telling the customer that they don’t have stock now. Denon might be in next 2 months, but we have brand new this in stock, buy this instead now, don’t wait, don’t go to other shops…
