They don’t have everything there. Same goes for other brands they own, this shop was never complete with full assortment of inMusic products.
True, both their online and reverb shop have always had a limited selection.
The idea is, that when the producer sells directly to the end users, then distributors will not want to sell the products, there is no exclusivity or proper supply / sales chain. This way shops will not see any profit in stocking up the gear. At the moment Dj decks demand is so high for multiple brands, that they can’t keep up production (counting in logistical, political and manufacturing challenges).
Every now and then new denon decks arrive in the shops, they sell very fast and then the whole story of “discontinued” repeats it self again… Next month it will be back on shelfs anyway. Till it’s sold out, and so on…

Do you guys think Rane could introduce the World First DVS Standalone Mixer powered by EngineOS ?
I mean with the powerful CPU inMusic puts in Rane System One, its like we having a real small computer inside, the possibilities are endless now 
I can clearly see a kinda Rane System 72, with the same screen size as the System One.
This mixer will be the first that can handle internally with no external computer DVS signals with the RCA inputs from turntables or even HID inputs from Rane 12 or Denon LC6000 !!!
I won’t go so far as to say that it is a powerful CPU, if we were to compare the RK3588 to an x86 CPU in terms of raw performance (although the ARM architecture is different) it would at best be comparable to a Ryzen 3 1200. So clearly not a rocket.
Long thread sorry if you already touched on this…a better chip would have been nice but I think they would price themselves out of the market shooting for that. It’s not just “spend $100 more on a better chip” it’s most likely rewriting Engine OS significantly like you said. I have no idea how that math works but I imagine that pushes the cost of the unit to $3K or more.
I will gladly accept the speed improvements that’s honestly exactly what I thought engine has needed most. Everything works well and it’s very stable I just get stuck waiting in menus and navigating.
Agree but do you remember when Serato Scratch Live and other DVS used to work on Intel Core Duo with ease ?
I think everything nowadays are more than capable to run any DJ software except real time STEMS maybe
First Scratch Live has run on Pentium 3, 700 MHz.
I have a better option - run a RANE twelve like controller or LC6000’s next to the Engine embedded mixer - 12”vinyl and jog wheel lovers happy?
Or go a step further and open midi mapping - any midi controller would be great.
Yeppers. DVS even runs fine on a pi zero. It’s not exactly a resource intense solution.

I’m still use SSL very well. It’s just a flawless Vinyl Emulator. Had Traktor and VDJ in the past and SDJ Pro at my alternative System, but SSL will keep alive.
This chip should probably handle the DVS signal correctly, but you would still need phono inputs on the device to input the signal. And that’s not currently the case on the System One.
However, you could input the signal via a class-compliant external sound card connected via USB if Engine OS could support this standard.
Another option could be wireless support for Phase DJ by Engine OS, which would certainly be the best and easiest option to implement now that the Phase SDK is open to third-party software developers.
