I ordered one of Mark Settle’ (DJWORX) prints from his final sale. I chose the HD25 one as its most relevant to me, and ive been lucky enough to receive number one of fifty!!

Here it is installed.

Turned the setup a little bit more like Engine today, using Djay Pro on the iPad. It worked pretty well (I’ve lowered latency) but there was a massive disconnect from the soundcard for about 5/6 seconds then it resumed.

Nice and clean having everything on screen, FX aren’t as nice as they are with hardware buttons and knobs but defo passable.

Oh and another new plant as they keep dying, we’re going to rotate them around every couple of months now until we can find one that likes shade.

That master sounds fx unit is a wet dream of mine

It’s a beauty for sure, I never thought I’d like effects that aren’t synced to the beat but it’s so much fun to use.

I will post my setup soon, but just wondering why images are not showing for some of the setups (image not available in your region). I had use an ip changing app to be able to see all of them? (Don’t ask why I have ip switching app looool). But seriously is this something the site developers need to sort out or is it a uk thing.

anyway all the set ups look really cool but curious about the ones that are facing walls. I have my set up facing the room prime 4+ and akai force combo. Is facing the wall so as not to be distracted or having wires better tucked away?

That’s nice and neat cable hiding with the green board thing. I need to do something like this as I have about 50 cables dangling connecting everything from the decks to speakers to music production hardware and hubs. When I am in front of the decks and monitor I can’t see the cables but if I am sitting on my sofa on the other side of the room it fills me with anxiety lol. Was thinking just to drape a cloth to hide it but paranoid of electric stuff shorting and burning down the house lol. But thanks for sharing, looks like in need to build something like what you have.

I think this has something to do with the Age Verification stuff with tools like Imgur in the UK.

Ah yeah that makes sense. I’ll continue with my work around. Cheers mate

In my case it was always about space, my old setup was in a 3m x 2m room so facing the wall was the only option. Luckily that’s no longer an issue.

It feels so natural facing the wall for sure. I’m also lucky that I have the space I guess. I’m like that with using headphones also. I don’t use them but I know they can be handy for a lot of djing styles but then I don’t get to enjoy my music from the speakers in the same way. Have a good day mate
