New gear for 2026

Or the view is from serato…?

i was thinking about serato

Isn’t it supposed to be a standalone with Engine included?

… which doesn’t exclude that it may/can still show Serato waveforms (if in Computer mode)

Anyway, looks sleek. I am more the static jog type (and I prefer a 10” + tilted screen), so I stay on the Denon ship, but stronger inMusic cross-brand synergetic effects is something I have always encouraged strongly, and this would be another good sign.

Still wont make Rane 12 a deck controller for Denon standalone systems, I just know it.

Love the big screen and the layout!:100: It saids Serato & Engine!!:star_struck::clinking_glasses:

It clearly says it is serato capable, and the display view looks to be the same as on Rane 72, that is driven by serato.

On first glance this seems to be a hit and miss a hit as it will certainly please the scratch djs who waited and didn’t buy a rane 1 mk 2 but a miss due to it lacks 4 channels the screen is small vertical wave forms only or it would have very small horizontal, if real time stems (engine) is not a thing on the device it’s failed already given how far stems has progressed but will wait to hear the specifics

Yes, I also prefer a 4ch unit for instant dubbles. A stand alone Rane Four would be super nice.

I love the design of this unit, looks very clean and polished! Especially the screen & the FX part in the center.

I’m excited to see how Engine Lighting is implemented.:high_voltage:

At 13:38 DJ Supafly states the price is 3499 CAD and extrapolates that to 2499$US. Isn’t that pricey for a two channel controller?

Rane are a premium brand aren’t they, whether that translates to the quality of the final device remains to be seen.

The current UK price of the XDJ-RX3 is £1769, that converts to $2377.

A premium brand that still uses the same cheap, flimsy plastic cue/play buttons from InMusic.

It will truly be premium when they start to offer metal buttons.

Good point, let’s wait and see more photos of the UI Engine in standalone mode. I wonder what the ergonomics must be like on a vertical screen.

I am really curious if the system one will be using the new SOC’s that are being used in the newer Akai lineup.

I’m also curious about that.

Is there any public information available about which SOCs are used in the “newer AKAI lineup”?

I don’t think anyone has disassembled the live 3 quite yet. If they end up releasing an updated force or mpc one, I’ll def be digging into it tho.

It would have been nice to have been a four channel unit as I’m use to my Prime 4+ and I do take advantage of all four channels..

With that said.. It’s still hot :fire::fire: I’m sure it will sell really well.

Does it come in White? lol :joy:

Let’s hope that DenonDJ will finally unveil the fantastic, cutting-edge hardware at this year’s NAMM, the release of which has been hinted for 2025.

It’s far too quiet in the rumor mill.
