You need to install Engine Prime 1.6.1, that is the last version of the Engine that supports creation of MCX8000 compatible database on USB media. Can't read files - Engine Prime 1.6.1 preparation

Hi there, I’m using Engine Prime 1.6.1 to prepare my usb for the mcx8000. It’s not working. I exported my playlists and crates to the usb drive but the mcx8000 can’t read the files. the manual is not very helpful. There is also no “export to MCX8000”-button showing up like described here… "Export to MCX8000" button missing Any ideas? Thanks very much.

Ahmet, for the bpm to be shown on the screen of mcx8000 you need 3 things:

• firmware on the mcx8000 to be 2.5 version
• file must be analyzed by Engine Prime 1.6.1
• file must be exported to USB stick using the special mcx8000 export button in Engine
