indirectly: Live stream with the Prime Go (2022), the first recommendation is to connect the analog outputs to an A/D converter
I still think it’s curious that the original design does not have a digital audio signal output, or that the USB-B port does not function as an USB Audio device – while the the Prime Go is perfectly capable of recording the mix as an audio file.
My question: Has the situation changed in 2025? Is there a possibility to get an live digital audio stream out of a Prime Go(+) device?
Agreed, it would be great to see support for this! On the Prime Go+, I was surprised to see that the USB audio interface mode is not available while operating in standalone mode. If it were available, someone could just plug in their phone and live stream with a straight digital path.
Somewhat related… it would be great if class-compliant USB audio devices were supported for audio output via the USB host ports on the Prime Go+. This would make it easy to add on an output for Dante, S/PDIF, AES/EBU, or whatever else someone needed to connect.
No USB ports ever function as audio devices. they are just ports that allow devices to connect and share data on a bus. Some would call it a Universal Serial Bus.
As far as I know the only way to stream is to use your device in controller mode and stream with software like VDJ or Serato (or stream to AES/EBU). Serato has an option to stream the playlist.
