Power Button Not Working Controllers

For whatever reason the power button on the back of my Mcx8000 is no longer working. Thankfully it is stuck on the “on” position regardless of its state of press. A bit paranoid it is going to just stop working. Tried all firmware etc and its also been cased since day1 so really not sure what is happening with it. Click and holds etc so its not physically broken. Has anyone had this issue offer a solution?

MCX8000 Two faults with unit Controllers

Screen freeze and now power stuck on as power switch doesnt work. I love the mcx8000 tried contacting denon no reply re -repair options. Disappointed two issues now with my unit. Out of warantie and would consider sending for repair.

Power Button not workin Controllers

HI, After 2 weeks , the power button stopped working. Pushing the button on/off does not make any difference it always stays on. The only way to shutdown the power is to take the power ac out of the outlet. Has anyone experienced the same ? Any fix ? Thank you

so as above really bizarre did 3 gigs this weekend fri & sat with no issue, got to my gig sunday plugged in the mcx and the power came straight on, the switch seems to be working fine latching on & off etc, but the mcx stays permanently powered. i’m not to bothered about it, but should get it looked at for piece of mind. but with denon’s incredibly slow service i can’t be without it for more than a couple of weeks. i’ve seen one other post with this issue surely there must be more, have you had …

hi guys just a quick one, had my mcx-8000 close to 2 1/2 years, it’s been back to denon twice in 2018, once for a failed power switch and freezing displays, then a second time for freezing displays, anyhow the last year it has worked faultlessly, until last saturday it would seem the power switch has failed again and the unit is stuck on. now i know i’m probably out of luck for a warranty repair, so if i leave the unit as is, will it stay powered on indefinitely? my only worry is it will fail ha…
