Attention ! Pioneer promises heavy lol

it has no streaming service ! wifi is only needed to be able to use rekordbox on iphone and android ! they copied the zone output but the 10-inch display costs 3000 euros! don’t you think it’s a bit too much?

It’s 2 grand more than the SC live 4, it better come with loo roll and a robotic hand for that price.

You’re not wrong there. There is a market for this.

I’ve been playing a lot of Destiny 2 on the PS5 - i’m sure ive seen that as one of the spaceships!

My colleagues from Star’s Music (France) received an email announcing the Pioneer Opus Quad.

The price will be well around 2900 and even close to 3150 euros.

Breaking news….

Pioneer Dj releases the all new ColecoVision XDJ-XZ Mak3…

Features… All new modern four channel standalone design… With wood grain paneling (as only found on the sides of the station wagon in National Lampoon’s Vacation movie)!

*Special advanced features… You can now play Donkey Kong and also shave your face with it. lol

The loop section on the Opus-Quad looks like something I’ve seen before

Its painted gold though Kris, and you know what that means… extra $$$$$

Yes, golden loop dials are now “the industry standard”.

This all is aimed at the bridal venues, where the DJ wears a tux.

To be fair, aesthetic preferences aside, I actually think the design is much cleaner than usual - I often find their products to look way too busy and packed - stuff all over the place. Placement of buttons etc seems more well thought of with this one.

Tbh, as much as that Nick Spinneli annoys me, his wedding setup is easily the best looking rig of the lot, with the Rane 12s… id also take a Rev 7 over that thing above any day of the week. The money saved could be put towards an M2 MacBook Air for a full rig.

But on the other side of the coin, there looks to be quite a lot of redundant space too. I agree with not filling everything up for the sake of it, but it kind of looks ‘empty’ to me.

All that wasted space and yet the hot pads are ridiculously small

Could be a matter of taste, but I actually like it. And I’m not really missing any functions at first glance

and not djing for “exposure”

I think if the cue pads were in their proper place and not the ‘Pioneer de-facto’ place it would warm on me a lot more, I also like the RGB coloured pads (im not a fan of the SC6000/LC6000 ones either), but I can understand why they went for this understated look in that respect, just not for me.
