Attention ! Pioneer promises heavy lol

Massive point we haven’t addressed, very true. I like gaming, football, photography and DJing, the only one of those that earn me money is DJing. I reckon I could easily rack up £200 a month and more for subscriptions if I went in on it.

Can’t watch Peppa pig on it though :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Ive got a spotify account that I pay monthly for but its a family one so that my wife and kids didn’t keep using mine, got fed up with listening to my music driving home from work and then their music cutting in when they tuned in, especially as my son listens to the awful mumbling rap artists that literally have no talent and the lyrics are terrible, give me old school anyday. I would pay for a season ticket to watch my beloved Arsenal at the Emirates but thats way off my budget.

@mufasa, You forgot the most important! With the MixStream… you can’t go on Tik Tok, Insta, Snap, FB and play the essential Candy Crush! :+1:

See you should support a rubbish team like I do, tickets are cheap then

And fully sympathise on the music front, I have no idea what those ‘artists’ are trying to do to hip hop but it ain’t good. It’s the vocoder robot voice and crappy beats that kill me the most.

Ah I see I’m not alone in my dislike for that stuff :man_shrugging:

Its absolute rubbish, you are right about the robot voice and the beats without any bass. Hip Hop of old had a heavy bass line and decent lyrics. Todays stuff is being made by wannabe gangstas rapping about drugs cars and who they’ve popped with a gat, bell ends. The wife was listening to WAP by Cardi B until I told her what WAP meant.

The bar I DJ at is frequented by Middlesbrough players and staff. A couple of months back one of them was having an engagement party and they had hired out the venue for the night. My mate was sent a playlist to play, he ended up flat refusing to DJ and told them to use Spotify as it was that bad.

He sent me a screenshot and one of the tracks was this, outside of the horrible stuff we already discussed, listen to the words then put it into the context of celebrating an engagement… ridiculous.

My 16 year old daughter sometimes listens to Pop Smoke and crap like that and I tell her that these rappers are rapping about women like they are just pieces of meat, these untalented losers have no morals. Luckily she also listens to Earth Wind & Fire, Luther Vandross and some of the stuff I like. Just been to the cinema with my 22 year old son and he had Giggs playing on the way there, lyrics were the same old shite and when I moan about it he tells me I’m old and don’t know anything about music lol.

I truly hate the subscription only model.

If a company wants to force users to subscribe, in my view they HAVE to offer the purchase outright option.

Thank god Serato do that. Sub only is an awful model and I just refuse to be drawn in (unless it’s a media subscription).

Serato has removed the option to buy individual add-ons/expansions.

350usd for the whole bundle or 9.99 a month

Oh I didn’t know that. I bought them all back when SDJ came out.

I suppose all-in it’s not too bad as that’s video too?

It claims the two channel mixer weighs 10Kg (The Xone:96 is 7Kg).

Well people believe the media for decades. I don’t.

Woah… that’s not good. Glad I don’t use Serato anymore : )
