What will be the next Denon hardware to be released

He is using the SC6000 as controller atm.

It looks like an old mixer - It’s maybe there for stage management, where the stage has 2 playback systems, perhaps a pioneer system and a denon system, and the outputs from those two systems are fed into a two channel mixer for simple handovers The little two channel mixer is then fed into the main audio channels leaving the stage/booth

Pasha, we already determined it’s a Reloop controller.

Either way nothing from InMusic that’s photobombed an otherwise innocent photo lol

and a mixtour reloop, works with iphone ipad mac and windows! no denon or pioneer system is connected because it has no line inputs, it only works with usb or with ios and android !!!

I use djay as part of my setup with my akai AMX and my iphone.

Too bad they don’t make these types of devices anymore.

He’s not even doing that. Just his iPhone and Reloop Mixtour which has transport buttons & mapped to control. Look at his latest TikToks & gigs…no Denon in sight. He doesn’t need anything else for control. He even acknowledged he wasn’t using Denon anymore in the comments on 1 of his Instagram posts

That’s the thing when you have to publicly pay somebody to be a ā€œbrand ambassadorā€ (whatever that is) - once the contract is done and expired, any positives that they provided to your brand is quickly undone if they stop using it.

Besides Oliver Heldens, who else is still on Denons payroll?

I don’t see why it’s important ive someone is on Denon’s payrol? Is it a thing to have Laidback Luke on Denon gear? I do not care for names playing gear, if that was the case I would have bought Pioneer gear, i like Denon more.

I think it’s important in the sense that it is not a good look for the company if their brand ambassadors immediately stop using their products after their contracts end. It basically reinforces the belief that others might have: that Denon stuff isn’t as good as Pioneer. I.e. ā€œthey only used Denon because Denon paid them to.ā€

Obviously it’s not going to matter much for anyone who already frequent this forum, as we’ve already decided on using Denon/Engine gear.

My opinion is that a brand ambassador can be greedy. True it’s a sin that could be more associated with bloggers/vloggers/ influencers but any person who’s approached to be a brand ambassador could hold their hand out

Then they could take the money, the free kit, the holidays and in-car entertainment kit and make a few videos and vlogs until the 2 years or 3 years that they signed up for expires. Then there’s nothing to stop them taking the biggest incentive from a rival firm. Or, if no offers come up, they simply offer themselves cheap. With no festivals during covid, a festival DJ has even less to do than normal.

What was Tiesto playing with recently? Some supermarket stocked hollow plastic midi controller? Beer goggles?

Just gonna chip in, would love to see a dedicated external effects unit.

I want Allen and Heath to make one. As much as I love my Pedals, having the X:DB4 and X:PX5’s effects suites in an outboard device would be amazing!!

Oh, and make it into the form factor of an X:K2, and it woukd be an absolute winner!!

You know the new Mastersounds FX has time signature delay now? Would that work with your setup?
