Just received - now testing and new stuff to discover.
Seems a good stand-alone ableton alternative for clip based djing. Love the ableton files exchange and integration for control. Now, excuse me for a weekend ![]()
Really want to try a force out!! Have fun and get down for me!

New Gear… Two SC5000M’s 1 from Chicago $550 (Guitar Center Demo Unit) and the other from Hollywood $510 (Hollywood Demo Unit), a used Pioneer DDJ SZ2 $1k (Guitar Center Chicago), Oh yes 3 Pelican Cases for the Travels and oh Snap a Stanton ST150 for the Vinyl gigs but I have a ST8150 and now a St150 to KINDA match (Heaviest tables i know of). The used ST150 came with a Stanton M44-7 needle that go’s for about $150 with a Novation Dicer that i would never use I never used Scratch Live and i bought the whole thing for 350 on reverb / Sam Ash in New York. People are dumping gear as usual but these were dope finds. I love the SC’s for darn sure. Now looking for 2 Neve Channel Strips on the low low like really LoW
Some oil for the spindle on my 1200MK2’s
Comfortable shoes. Not to be diss’ed.
This is so actually important, especially when playing long nights. Most of us stand up all time, so this is important to have comfortable shoes that will help to make the dj job easier. Many people don’t pay attention to it.
It doesn’t help that I’m carrying considerably more weight that I should. But the first thing I do at the venue is take my Skechers out of my bag & slip them on. Comfy feet are essential on long gigs.
When I first started streaming from home (when I was furloughed) doing 3-5 hours on my feet in just socks became uncomfortable. It was Mojaxx who mentioned that he used an anti fatigue mat, so I got myself one and use it every time I stream.
In my 20’s I could abuse my feet in literally anything on all-nighters…
Now; give me compliant footwear or give me death!
more new gear. I found the Denon DJ X1850 for 1050 US used at Guitar center on line in New York. The Unit comes with a Deck Saver and a Flight Case so I felt i needed to pull the trigger. Moving to the SM500’s away from my Vestax i was missing using simple effects like Tremelo on the Vestax nut the Denon has Delay which I can make work. This solves my issue of adding back effects and improves the D set up. I hope I dont abandon my old mixer which I love in the Ecler Nuo2. Hey anyone know of Knobs that can be swapped out on the X1850 / 1800. I want to add more color to the unit when she arrives.
nice pick up n ber seen one in person just the Bozak rack mixers

Recently added the XONE:92 rotary to my setup, replacing my x1800 — I got it for the routing options and to have fun with rotary; I was not expecting the sound quality to be head and shoulders above the x1800, but
wow. Hearing things on familiar tracks I’ve never heard before; the clarity is incredible and familiar tracks sound brand new.
I always wanted the 1U rack unit but I just haven’t the space for it.
