Sharing this hoping it helps someone in the future with organization of stream-supporting hardware.

I just picked up this 19" rack to house 3 computers for my streaming setup. Inside this rack:

  • 1x 10GbE 8 Port Switch
  • 1x 1GbE 8 Port Switch
  • 1x Beelink SER 5 (Runs MeowPlaying - my OBS display)
  • 2x Mac Studios
    • Soon to be OBS studio main machine
    • LED Wall driver
  • 2x Power conditioners

That’s a play on the product named “NowPlaying” by Triode and is my own custom OBS overlay (I keep using the term plugin in error :man_facepalming:t2:).

Nice. I’ve also used NowPlaying but I can’t get the waveforms like yours.

Yeah, NowPlaying will never have that feature due to the complexity of what is required.

I have a dedicated USB Sound card connected to each of my decks and have custom software to read from that software and shuttle it over to MeowPlaying.

At this point, I don’t have plans to. It’s currently in a very disjointed state with duct tape & glue keeping it all together. Also, the complexity of how it runs makes it difficult to justify a simple installer.

Perhaps one day when I have the time, I’ll look into the work required to package it all up.
