What was the last DJ related item you bought?

I certainly agree, but on the other hand I didn’t expect that it would fit so nice and that I could do it at this level.

Only the phones hole on the skin should be a bit larger.

The material is good.

I wonder what exact material is that, as I have a printer / plotter and some other office tools, that can produce this. Just need to find the right material / supplier

I didn’t use the front sticker as that is already black, but I might have put that part in the bin… I see what I can do to get you that sample.

you need to earn a commission for this: There are currently 6 users on the site with a Prime4 skin in the shoppingbasket!

Be careful how you say that

Seriously, you definitely don’t want a subprime4 skin. :stuck_out_tongue:

Lol. It costs €2,80 to send you half of the remains of the Xone96 DJskin :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:. Those PostNL tariffs are wack, but it’s in the mail to you atm!

Thanks. Send me a tikkie for it.

Or wait, I will just send you direct.

Sent :+1:t2:

Wouldn’t have been needed, but thanks!

I always want to be fair :+1:t2:

Was this the first use of the word “tikkie” on this board?

Haha most definitely. And maybe we need to go back on topic.

De brief is aangekomen, dank u wel.

Not truly DJ, but some light toys for me.

  • A couple of Varytec Hero Spot 60. Snatched two mint pieces for €400 and so far I am very pleased with them… compact, good output, rotating Gobos, prisma, decent resolution. Already scripted them to many of my SSW Autoloops, but they will remain stationary in my Skarbase studio (mounted via some pretty adventurous DIY constructions)

  • A quartet of ApeLabs Sticks L. For anyone in Europe, you can snatch these for €99 each right now at Thomann, which is the same as I paid for used ones from Ebay! Unlucky me, lol. But they are dope. One button to switch them on/off, the rest is done via their (good) remote, Smartphone App, or one of the WDMX boxes, that also work well in any SoundSwitch setup. And since they are battery powered, I will also use them for my outdoors video sets.

When the boss found a setup consisting of two SC6000Ms and one used X1850, barely used in the studio, in mint condition, all for €2600 for the club.

The only thing missing is the original Ethernet and USB cables. It shouldn’t be difficult to buy new ones, but I don’t know exactly which category is recommended for Ethernet cables.

Any will do. Remember they are capped at 100MB/s

Great find

So… I bought recently some wood, some wires, connectors and usb hubs.

Added 6 of my synths to the mix, some 3D printed parts and this is what came out:

Side panels are hand carved and burned by me (took me 3 afternoons). And of course I forgot to take a photo when all 4 were ready.

Led’s are pixel controlled and sound reactive (also smooth fade modes etc…)

Build in Usb hub concentrate all 3 synths in to one usb socket.

Power supply is on special 4 pin XLR to avoid stage confusion (12V 5A - enough for 3 synths, led’s and some extra juice still left).

Lam connection follows typical stage Lan-4x symmetric audio for fast connections.

3 first jacks on the left - single synths, jack 4 is for input of any external signal to add to lan connection.

Still in process - 3D printed feet and deco parts, fiber optic wires for leds to add some scifi look in random places.

Might also add custom vinyl wrapping to the synths soon… still looking for good supply of the vinyl sticker (not ready shop). I have the tools to make my own.

Great set for a great price - the same as one would pay for a single CDJ-3000X.

And with dual layer you have basically 4 decks.

Enjoy!

Exactly that, at this price and in this condition, it was clearly a deal not to be passed up.

Will someone from inMusic write in this thread that they bought Native Instruments?
