Yeah, at a similar price (<50$ delta) I would go for the Plus, but otherwise the Go isn’t bad either, if you prefer the LAN port over Amazon music, and the ≈25% difference in battery runtime doesn’t matter much.
Battery is a good point, when buying used (any mobile device) ensure that it’s not too old.
And good choice keeping the Prime 2, it’s a great unit. Treat it well.
No interest in Amazon. Extra battery time is nice. I like the look of the new GO+
I might experiment with syncing a drum machine via LAN, but that would be in the studio where a USB hub would be Ok
I am that streamer friend. Bax gave me a 7.5% discount and I bought it just before they upped the price to £815 so I only paid £739. I added a magma flight case as well and it came in well below the cost of a prime go+. I think the OG prime go is a great deal at the moment if you can find one in stock that would be my choice.
