Stems - Clearing them from Internal Hard Drive

Continuing the discussion from Creating Stems On Engine Desktop:slight_smile:

I have no problem creating Stems. My MacMini has warned me I am running out of space and others here have mentioned to clear out purgeable files to rectify this problem which does help. After finishing rendering the stems I use the Sync Manager to copy them to an external hard drive I have located inside the bay of my SC6000. These transfer fine. Now I would like to erase the Stems on my Mac Mini to reclaim the space on my internal hard drive. If I delete the stems, the next time I use sync manager, it will replace the Stems folder in EngineDj (now empty) and over write the Stems in my external hard drive. Obviously I should be able to add Stems incrementally to my external hard drive without having to maintain the stems on my Mac mini’s hard drive but I just can’t figure out how to do that. I’ve tried saving the stems to a separate drive while in Enginedj but access to the drive is locked. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong? Thanks
