I recall seeing this statement quite a while back already, it really ■■■■■ that Denon don’t care to give us the ability to use our screens with Djay, but then have you seen just how horrid the screen support is in Serato? I’d rather use the ipad / laptop screen than using the half arsed implementation that Serato gave us. Sadly it seems like Denon are cool with it like that otherwise it would have been changed by now. Small things like this are exactly what people notice & really doesn’t help Denon at all. They need to be on top of things & ensure their hardware is compatible with as much as possible. As for Spotify support… that is a total no brainer. It needs to be done, just like they need to get One Library up & running in order to stay relevant.

This is not true. Denon doesn’t have to share any source code for that. They did already shared SDK dfor the displays and midi implementation with Native Instruments, Serato and Virtual Dj. Not sure about the Algoriddim, but probably also.

this info is for algoriddim,i dont know about native instrument
I know, and I know, that NI has the SDK for the display, but didn’t do much with it. There is no confirmed info about Algoriddim getting the SDK. But also there is no confirmation, that they don’t. Only a speculation by the users.
