hi Denon DJ fans, I wan to share my suggestions for Denon DJ PRIME GO MK2.
Please make possible
to change the battery, easy access and maintenance,
to replace channel faders and the crossfader if needed (Innofader installation)
to see time remaining on battery, eco mode, etc.
Please add
the 3rd channel,
FHD screen,
Designwise please make it retro-futuristic with transparent details. Even if I ever give up djing, I would keep it as a technological art piece.
Guys, add your suggestions as well, thank you
You can route the audio of one through the other but im talking about a way to link them digitally so they can talk to each other. Like how a cdj can talk to the other and the mixer. Like a link cable.
The Prime Go has a LINK port though? It supports syncing two Engine Prime devices via Ableton Link, but I don’t think you can access one drive from both devices.
I think Denon should think about the integration of their products. Although marketed as Stand Alone, combining owned or collab equipment from the full Denon range would be very cool.
For the Denon Prime Go 2
Individual audio outputs for each deck; allowing GO2[A-B]-X1850mixer-GO2[C-D]
Individual audio aux input for each channel; allowing SC6000-GO2mixer-SC6000
Believe most interesting for Denon (lock-in) to build below compatibility;;
Ability to assign any Denon input as digital control layer for any channel on Denon products (not only additional layers); allowing LC6000-GO2mixer-LC6000 or SC6000-GO2mixer-SC6000, but also GO2 to act as additional layer controller for ie PRIME4+ .
I think I suggested that a couple of years ago. It would be great to treat the Go as a pair of players that you could plug in to the inputs of a venues mixer.
Vestax did this years ago, with a range of twin CD players that had a basic mixer onboard. You could also use the individual decks outputs via some extra RCA sockets on the back. Check out photo 7.
