Prime 4 update 2.0.2 has frozen the prime 4 in an unfinished update and turns off

I turned my prime 4 on the other day and it says I needed to do the fw update. I just accepted and did it over wi-fi. I left it alone and didn’t turn anything off as it says and waited for it to reboot as it says. I thought the prime 4 had finished the update as it turned off but when I turned it back on it flashes for a bit then on the screen it says “UPDATING PLAYER WILL REBOOT AFTER UPDATE PLEASE DO NOT POWER OFF” and underneath it has a little white update bar which should go green with level of update progress which says UPDATING MIXER TO 01.48. it then turns itself off and that’s it. I turn it back on and the same thing happens again. I did turn it on and held the eject button to put it in update mode, did the update through the laptop and it’s still doing the same thing. Anyone know how I get to in a sorted as I literally can’t get onto the prime 4 to do anything. Can’t even go into a menu or anything

I have a similar problem with 2.0.2 update and my Prime 2 is completely unusable: Prime 2 freezes on startup (recently updated to 2.0.2) - unusable

No response from Denon support yet.

I think there’s something seriously wrong with the 2.0.2 update - I suggest people hold off applying it!

I’ve just spoke with Denon on the phone. Explained everything on the phone and they want me to send it off to them for an engineer to look at. I wish there was some way of factory resetting or something rather than faff around getting it picked up etc.

me pasa lo mismo que te ha dicho denon

Yo también tengo el mismo problema, NO se puede actualizar, tuve que volver a instalar el OS con el que vino de fabrica. Estoy a punto de vender la Prime4 y comprar otro controlador.
