You state that something is a waste of money because the pads are only hot cues, and it’s MY logic that’s insane?
Riiiiiiight

Buy one and report back! I’m guessing you agree because you haven’t said you’re getting one because you think it’s worth it. Report back after you realize it’s not worth $1500
I’m not getting one because I already have plenty of stuff and I don’t need it.
If I was in the market though, I wouldn’t rule it out just because of the pad limitation.
Thank for finally agreeing!!
This is amazing… thank you!
I haven’t agreed with anything you’ve said.
Time for a Poll…
Which would you rather own….
This controller or his shirt?? lol
I’ll take the shirt as it will get more use!
SUAT’s the man! Always bringing good positive vibes.
Hilarious at 11:40 when he bumps into another strap-on DJ
Suats behaviour during the pandemic was unforgivable on every single level - unforgivable and unforgettable, with no redeeming talent or originality
Agreed. I remember seeing him live streaming, at the height of the pandemic, from a woodland somewhere, with a whole bunch of people - all way too close to each other. Not a single face mask in sight, as if the restrictions didn’t exist. Maybe he’s related to Boris?
The “world first” statement above is wrong as well. He was out in Venice Beach with it a few days ago (then later took the video down).
Hi, onwning the p4, pgo and opus quad…
The new alpha/pioneer omnis is an advanced Prime go BUT : the only advantage is the Bluetooth internal recorder.
With Engine os 3.3 the Prime go is still up-to-date. Sound quality, built quality, smaller size…
Althought the Opus quad is the Prime 4+ main competitor, it has some advantages (despite the lacks and bugs) 32 bits audio, rekordbox standard, bluetooth, club standard jogwheel size…
And the Omnis duo is expensive and too much bigger. It is a device for bars, home and small venues. Prime go is for mobile applications, as a safety device, and it is very fun to use (except mini jogwheels)
Attention !!! Omnis Duo does not have a bluetooth recorder, but a buffer of 9 minutes max in order to be able to use the temporary file like a file from a storage medium.
And the Opus Quad is not at all practical for seeing the 4 decks since they are Switched on the small screens, we don’t have an overview on the main screen!
It’s simply overpriced. It should be $999.00 (and I’m factoring in the pioneer dj tax).
To me, if anything, this will bring more awareness to the Denon/Numark offerings. And if the people actually compare, they will see how much more they get with those vs the Omnis Duo.
I do like the Bluetooth features. And the mic options. And USB Power.
Yeah. He got kicked out of the shopping centre near us and it turned a little nasty with the security (Gunwharf- Portsmouth). There was some ropey behaviour for sure.
He used a Prime Go in either the museum or art gallery and a few videos showed a Prime 4 too but obviously took some AT money since.
The guy should be called Suet … he’s a right pudding, for sure.
USB–C power can easily be overcome with a small adapter like this one. https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B0831G9CKS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Maybe DenonDJ should brand one like this as an official accessory. By the way, does the OD have a sampler? This is a feature I really like in my Go. One of the few things I envy about the OD is the Noise fx.
What I don’t like about the Prime Go is the location of the CUE and the size of the jogwheels (even the Vestax VCI300 had larger jogwheels as I remember) and it is missing 2 bass/treble trims for the microphones (I am not penalized with my Sennheiser EW100G4 HF which have an adjustment in the receiver where you can reduce the pitch, reduce the treble or increase it). As for USB-C why not for the part power supply, but as for a USB port to connect a USB key or an SSD, you would need both USB3 AND USB-C for the best of all worlds, like that for users who have had keys for a while , they will not have to buy adapters, it will be possible to adapt once all keys are marketed with this type of connection.
Pioneer Dj “Shocks” the Dj industry with “Waterproof” controllerI !!
*Life preserver & sunblock optional!
A big Thank you to SUAT for sharing his positive vibes wherever he goes !!
