you havenāt missed much!
If you do a Google image search for āthat wasnt so bad now was itā, you will find the image.
Just replace the description of the item mentioned in the meme with āCDJ-3000ā
I am attesting to this. Iāve already had a 5000 replaced and my x1800 was ābrickedā, but luckily a firmware reset fixed the issue.
However, I am still having a TON of issues with my 5000ās which I will soon be making a massive thread about. Expect 6+ issues all with video evidence. The tech Iām in touch with completely stopped responding to me over a month ago and Iām now stuck in a hard place.
I was hoping they were just overworked or underpaid or something like the email/underpants gnomes got the messages.
Great. Within the last 6 weeks Iām up to triple emailing them with no response.
Iāve literally hand fed them free beta testing and feedback with video evidence + all the specs on my software/firmwareās, harddrive models, audio file specs, etc. They need to send me their hardware in the future for testing and I will find issues with it at any time, any place.
The covid thing might be also complicating stuff. Some of their parts sourcing, for instance for the Marq Lighting stuff, seems to have collapsed, such that theyāre stating on some things now āwe donāt consider this equipment to be serviceableā which is pretty uncommon from InMusic/Numark who usually have lots of little parts for even old gear, let alone a newish, top-of-their-line hazer.
Definitely a possibility. I did start reaching out to both InMusic and Denon in January regarding my issues and it wasnāt until April I started making formal complaints on this forum.
The problem I have is they clearly canāt figure out what is causing my layering issue (see link below). If they responded with āhey we are still working on a fixā, I would be content, but Iāve heard nothing.
Potential new consumers and existing users who donāt currently experience any issues should understand the customer support can lack.
Install the public beta.
Take the known-good-working RCA stereo cables that youāve been consistently using fine on the Layer As in analog and connect from the A & B SPDIFs on the players to the respective SPDIF inputs on the X1800.
If you have problems, then create a new defect/bug report or better yet contact InMusic directly by phone to get your players serviced.
Iāve just tried the CDJ 3000ā¦I have to admit itās a beast piece of hardware !!!
The layout is less busy than I thought, even the cue buttons position is not that bad because itās like playing with a MPC or Maschine, we see directly what we are doing.
The screen is perfect size, not too big and very bright.
But for me the most impressive thing is the jogwheel ! Itās butter smooth, quiet, light, precise and also very tightā¦Iām more a turntablist but I really love this jogwheel .
I would rank SC6000M > CDJ 3000 > SC6000
Iād love to know what youāre takingā¦
Feature for feature the 3000 is at least 1 generation behind.
Youāve sort-of returned to the land of normality, congrats! Though as I say feature by feature the 3000 is last objectively.
Itās not all about features though - or shouldnāt be.
Just because thereās a unit on the market that has those features, does not mean that every other unit made by anyone else needs to have those same features, or better.
at that price difference, yes, it has to be better across the board.
iPhone vs Android. Sort of what @PKtheDJ is describing too.
Whats up guys? Someone use Piooner dj???
Hey. Yep, every day man)
Why did you choose the piooner? And what its main advantages?
Thank you so much!!!
Looks like a Pioneer commercial!
