I’m having a problem syncing my Prime 4 to Engine Desktop.
The sync from desktop to Prime 4 works perfectly.
However, if I set CUE points on the Prime 4 during the gig, for example, I am not offered the option of bringing the changes from the Prime 4 back to Engine Desktop later when syncing with Engine Desktop. The corresponding button remains inactive. I also use LexiconDJ. If I import from Prime 4 to LexiconDJ it works and the changes are applied.
Did you try this on an empty USB stick which was never touched by Lexicon? For all we know there could be a bug introduced by Lexicons doings? Let’s rule that out first, and then start looking what could went wrong in the Denon ecosystem
Hi,
Just tested the same thing again with a fresh USB stick. Freshly formatted with exfat. Synchronized a playlist via Engine DJ and inserted the stick into the Prime 4. Deleted some CUE points, ejected the stick and plugged it back into the Mac. Cannot sync back into Engine DJ. The button remains inactive.
Try the same thing again, just the other way around. So instead of deleting CUE’s, new ones are created. Same problem.….
hi
i confirm that i’ve this same problem with my Prime Go with the last 4.1.0 Engine version …
i cannot sync back to desktop when i modify some tracks on the prime Go …
regards
Hi, yes but that is no Solution for me. I have many playlists many stored Events etc. No Chance to Bild them back from Sratch. It is growing up over many years.
I feel you, you’d have to point a gun to my head before I’d delete my whole collection….
You could however backup your collection, move it somewhere safe on your computer, and start a new collection just to experiment, and after the experiment just move the original collection back into place: Maybe you found a bug, maybe this is user error, we don’t know. Starting a brand new collection rules the bug out of the picture.
Have you contacted InMusic support here? Maybe they can be more helpful?
i confirm that the total library wipe, (as stated my Mufasa(thanks!)), fixed my problem… now i can sync back again … but as stated : all playlists, cuepoints and so on has been lost (cry)
i confirm that i also tested Lexicon so perhaps it as been since that day…
rule 1 : make backups …
