Magic.
A quick way to mute is usually hold something down for a few seconds. If the gain knobs or any other knob can be pressed in then holding them in will probably mute it. Mute is usually something you can get to quickly and not buried in a menu.

EDIT: Yup, the mute buttons are a ‘push and hold’ quick access.

A monitor speaker with a 28 page user guide, if that is indicative of how over engineered modern items are, i dont know what is… i just want an XLR input and a volume control lol.
