Great news for all Traktor users! This is Big!
The move I was secretly betting on for quite a while - glad it became real.
Oh wow! Here we go baby! ![]()
Maybe now we’ll see some integration between the MPC side and the Maschine side. I have both and would love to be able to interchange projects beween the two.
Ooooh, as a Maschine/Izotope/Brainworx-user (and some of their other production plug-ins as well) that’s exciting news for sure ![]()
engine dj with native instrument ,perfect move ,that will be a unstopable
Onelibrary confirmed xd
Indeed, OneLibrary support was announced for Traktor back in October 2025 so maybe now it’ll actually happen.
“Cross-pollination” is the operative term Mojaxx used. InMusic now has an opportunity to gain a lot of market share with innovative products. The downside may be that if Alpha Theta decides to make another run for Serato it will be harder for InMusic to argue against that.
As an almost “former” Traktor user, I’m glad I kept it up-to-date.
Something tells me that we’re going to see less and less Serato-licensed Rane/Numark products in the future and we’re going to see more and more Rane/Numark products bundled with Traktor. No reason for InMusic to continue paying licensing fees to Serato when they now have their own DJ software.
They already had 2 dj software’s (Mixmeister and Torq).
Maybe we will get some new denon and numark products soon? And big update to engine dj? Can this announcement been what they have been waiting for?
This is huge
And they did nothing with it.
Seriously, do Traktor users really think this is good news for them? Expect Traktor to go absorbed into some future inMusic software meanwhile Engine will get most of resources and Traktor will keep falling behind VDJ/SDJ/Rekordbox…
Read the statement of NI ceo… then come back to complain…
Both Mixmeister and Torq are the Norwegian Blue of DJ software (dead parrots).
Mixmeister was never really “standard” DJ software. More like Ableton Live for DJs.
Torq was never much of a player in the game. Did anyone here ever use it?
Yep, but Torq was pretty good back in the days. Traktor however has way more potential than the other two.
IMHO you can see the roadmap shift slightly for Denon DJ. They’re one step closer to “everything for everyone”, it’s kinda evident with the RS1 path forward.
Now that being said, remember when Traktor had a DJ APP, which was pretty cool? Who says we won’t see that come back but Engine branded.
The only thing that statement is worth it is if I print it and wipe my arse.![]()
And if you believe it yourself please send me a PM - I have a bridge to sell you ![]()
Sorry, I have been dealing with inMusic owned Denon brand since they bought it and see all to well the path ahead of us.
It was neat and had potential, but frustrating AF because of the lack of support.
Bro – having Traktor become the music management software. ![]()
