Next generation standalone

To start with, Merry Christmas everyone!!

So, 20-24 January 2026 its the namm event. I was watching a video from Mojaxx yesterday and he was hinting about new gear from inmusic. In the middle of the video he said like these brands are not dead, big things is happening, but you need to wait. Then towards the end he talked about that it will be a busy namm  https://youtu.be/VnH_cS7HULA?si=8GHkHtweU0rvwqrs

If there will come a new standalone 4 deck controller next year, what are the three main things you like to be improved from prime 4+?

My three things is:

1: Hardware effects. This will be important for me cause im starting to mix with vinyl now from time to time.

2: Mechanical jogwheels. I dont care about them getting bigger but i like the feel of mechanical.

3: A knob to change the resonance for the filter. I like to do this when im mixing, from like 5-10, and it is fiddly to go in to the utilitys every time. This third was hard to decide, i also want a 32-bits soundcard very much, but in the end i think the filter is more important.

Let me know your list

Don’t care about a controller. Personally I’d like to see a SC7000 (ULTRA) with three outputs (two track layers and one dedicated output for the sampler) with a 12” touch screen and 10” mechanical platter, MPCe pads, USB C for audio routing external APP effects or external device/computer audio routing and a simple sampler sequencer.

Already being discussed here: New gear before 2026

Well I saw that thread and I dont think they are similar. This was about listing 3 major improvements you want to see on next gen unit :victory_hand:

The floorplan of NAMM is already up on the website. And if size means anything, AliTemu has a absoluut huge stand on the ground floor (under the brand Pioneer DJ) and inmusic is tucked away in a small booth on the 2nd floor.

Looks like a really good spot in my eyes. To much distraction in the big halls.

Marketing is their only strongest point atm.

If the latest MPC XL and the LC6000 or GO+ leaks were anything on.

We know that inMusic are scrapping “traditional” ways and going with the “Oh, really? We had no idea that was coming! And so soon too.” :joy:

I have the sc6000s outside of real time stems i can’t see why i would need to upgrade as it’s more about the software and the sc5000s are still going strong i am interested in a 4 channel all in one with motorised jogs i just hope it has the mixer layout of the sc live 4/x1850

Would it run Rane-gine DJ?

If I had to chance a guess, an SC7000 is in the pipeline. My SC5000’s have been nothing but absolute joy to play on and practice but they’re starting to look/feel a bit dated

It should work with as many software as possible in my view i think down the road thats how it will be, can’t see Engine joining one Library anytime soon but if the majority of software companies join one Library, InMusic will likely have to follow suit unless the take a huge risk by not and if not then they need to have really good hardware and address the issues with the software

“The Voices In My Head Go”………

It would be nice to see more marketing campaigns..

I photoshopped this T-Shirt and pitched this slogan a few years ago…

“Denon DJ “Join The Revolution”…

But now I’ve had more time to think about it… Perhaps… “Join The Evolution” would have been better well suited..

This is just a thought I had… I have nothing to do with creating or manufacturing T-Shirts.. I’m just passing on a friendly marketing suggestion.. That’s all.

There are the first leaks of Rane and as it seens we finally get RGB Waveforms.

I wouldn’t get your hopes up, the waveforms on that leaked image look suspiciously like Serato waveforms.

Well he was a bit late to the party because that’s from 2024!
