Seen that mentioned, but I have no experience with Denon gear before the X1800, so others will know better.
Why would LL be testing out new players that’s already been leaked by him a long time ago and others more recently though?
I still suspect it could be something else

It definitely is. Strange choice to have but I suppose it’s what he is happy with.
Prototypes are not send in these boxes, so it probably is the definitive box.
Plus, it’s continuously tested and upgraded.

I think I’m just being hopeful more than anything else about other products being released and that’s why I think it’s something other than the new player
Well I would like it to be a new mixer, but they know I do, so I don’t think it is yet…

Please tell me Denon send joke boxes out like Oculus did with the Quest 2 dev kits? 
What would the benefit be with that ? And joke boxes for what item?
- It’s amusing - get a sense of humor
- It can prevent items from being prematurely leaked.
As for what item, if you read the post I replied to its obvious… prototypes/early access hardware.

I think I’'m the target market for these new LC6000s. I have the x1850 and one SC6000. I use the dual layer feature all the time in my sets, but I sometimes make mistakes stopping a playing track, or hitting a hotcue on the currently playing track, when I meant to be working on the other layer. Totally my fault, but I believe that this controller will mitigate a lot of my little flubs made in haste.

I know exactly what you mean - I cant use the dual layer thing either - to be fair, its my lack of skill rather than the dual layer not being useful.

I thought you’d get LayYa note stating that ‘this box will self destruct’ if leaked. 
I took me about 6 months to get used to it. I have the m version so I have to use the deck on the left side of the mixer for a week and then on the right for another.

If this controller is just limited to be a sc6000 add-on (with ethernet link only) with no select deck control, it will be the most niche dj product ever made !!! It can’t be an hype product… So I REALLY HOPE it could also be used as a DVS controller for Serato, Traktor or even an ENGINE live performance version. Or at least I hope it can be used with the Prime Gol, 2, 4…or let’s say a world premier prime ENGINE mixer with built-in player and screen ??
