Move the CUE POINT at the start of the track

I don’t know if this is related to the topic of this post, but I’ve noticed that if you enter a loop and then stop playback using the CUE button, the player seems to stop and move the main cue point to the loop’s entry point instead of returning to the beginning of the track or to the location of the previously placed main cue point.

You then have to return to the beginning of the track using the touchscreen to correctly reposition the main cue point.

I don’t know if I’m doing something wrong, but I often encounter this problem in this situation.

Shift + Cue returns you to the beginning of the track regardless of where you put the cue, you don’t have to use the touch screen.

Or if you got a track skip button like on pioneer devices press track skip back once to return to the start.

Press Cue when not playing a track to place cue point.

Press Cue when playing a track to return to the cue point.

I think there’s a setting in the options that changes the cue behaviour but can’t remember.

Yes, I always forget that Shift + Cue combination to return to the beginning of the track.

But I think the player should still return to the previously placed cue point rather than moving to the loop’s entry point when you stop the track while a loop is playing. That doesn’t seem like consistent behavior to me.

I don’t use loops often but agree that the cue behaviour is odd, I’d rather if you press cue it went back to the beginning of the track regardless of whether or not the track is playing & if you want to set a cue point then you can hold cue for a couple of seconds & if you want to start from or return to the new cue point you just set then hold shift + cue.
