I guess they had to say CDJ’s as the CDJ’s do not bring any new features nativly at this time. As for Luke it is his choice to do what he wants he maybe right he maybe wrong either way as long as there is gear to mix music someone will use it.
Given that it would require a firmware update for… well, absolutely no other reason… And given how hard that would be to mandate /enforce - there’s probably at least one person who reads the F/W update changelogs, right…?
Well… I reckon it would take a fairly “exacerbated” exchange between the two legal reps for each before that ‘engineering’ change note got actioned. 
And but there is another reason; the x1800/x1850 owners were left out, big time, when the number of on-board effects of the all-in-one consoles got a massive range of new effects a few months ago.
It’s time to set that straight, surely.
I think this and stems would be the 1-up scenario, especially considering what a hassle it was for him to set up the DVS system in another video.
