It's 2025 and we still can't batch select red tracks

Stems and all this stuff is great, but we still have no way to easily select all the red tracks that occasionally appear, and relocate. Sure, you can do this one by one, but in a big library, this is a long process. Just a column for ‘missing tracks’ would suffice. Anyway have a happy weekend. Love my Go and the Dennon ecosystem still. Just a minor gripe. Toodle pip.

It’s 2025 and there is still a laundry list of problems with Engine DJ like intelligent searching for missing tracks or even scroll jitters with trackpad.

My MX Master 3S Mouse scroll works perfectly with everything on macos except Engine DJ… It’s so frustrating! Also, a global volume if not a mixer when in dual mode… It’s so annoyng to prepare a set when I have the bass from both tracks! Midi control with midi learn, just for preparation would be also awsome! And the contrast is killing my eyes! Put some skins or some contrast knob… So desapointed with the desktop app!

Exactly. There’s no hint of InMusic stopping any firmware updates, so maybe some of these little, and in the case of red tracks, avoidable, niggles may be worked on for some future update.

Here are related feature requests…

Bulk Delete of Red Tracks in Engine DJ App - has 16 votes. There are some links to old feature requests there too. Plus, @djliquidice offers a Bash shell for listing the missing files referenced in Engine Library m.db.

Enable Sort by DIRECTORY Column - has 8 votes. (Submitted by @Mixlive in response to @some_po 's thread Sort for Missing Tracks to Delete.)

Yeah, it’s discouraging.
