I need some help / advice but nothing to do with my Denon equipment, it's about where we get our music from

Does the app show bpm and key of the tracks?

Hi Everyone.

Stu-C As I said the other day I joined Traxsource and have now been through a number of there charts and and this point find them better than Beatport for my taste. I have since purchased a number of tracks all downloaded in one go and to my surprise a little cheaper. So thanks

Slayformoney - I know what you mean regarding ā€œbanger tracksā€ I used to get a lot of US imports as soon as they hit the UK also on a number of DJ mailing lists plus using a good record shop made a difference but now with downloads it’s very different.

PKtheDJ - Yes Individuality very important where ever I worked I was always complemented on what I played and not being a copy of another DJ, if record was at number one in the charts and I thought it was crap I would not even consider it. My opinion was if I was going to get the sack it’s for what I did not for what someone else wants me to do. I am please to say that I had some long residencies.

Also thanks to every one for there suggestions I am giving every think a try. - Keith

Don’t forget to check the Traxsource homepage for discount codes too Keith, also sign up to their newsletter for additional VIP codes, you should be getting minimum 20% of each order.

Hi Bro, long time since I’ve commented, hope I find you well, I would suggest Release Radio if you want underground music and not chart music. Mixcloud or DAB depends where you are in the country for DAB, I do three live shows a week and 80% of the music is new. Catch you soon. Will :facepunch:t3:

DJTamarcus is my music name I’m trying to be played I heard some wanted to play DJTamarcus Halloween freestyle any info anybody?

I’ve just discovered Traxsource, better than Beatport in my humble opinion

It’s not even a competition Jay ;)… genres are correct, music is cooler, DJ charts are better:) I’m about 18yrs deep on Traxsource now.

Oh and I think I forgot to DL one of my purchases once, I got in touch with them a few months later and they re-activated all the track ps for me to DL again, the guy who was emailing me was sound too, loved his house tunes and was chatting about it.

I agree Stu the genres are much better and the music is way better too, it also seems easier to navigate than Beatport, why has it taken me so long to discover it  Just purchased Who do you love by Adri Block, Block & Crown remix, had the original on vinyl in the 80’s

Hahaha showing our age…. My first ever record was the Michael Jackson - Bad album on 12ā€

Me and the boss (partner) have decided it’s 45s weekend this weekend, where I drink wine, play some 45s and she sits in a chair on the landing and listens or gets up for a boogie. Soul, funk, disco, breaks and hip hop.

Traxsource is a funny one, I don’t even know how it came across it back in the day but I’m glad I did. I always hated beatport, even the login annoys me. I’ll use it on the odd occasion I need a specific track that’s only on there, I’ve tried scouring their genre charts but I find it as bad as the iTunes Charts, more cheese than a fondue party.

Hi Everyone

Stu-C Got to say it again many thanks for telling me about Traxsource some weeks back its so much better than beatport bought quite a few tracks from them now far more to my taste/liking. I do love new dance tracks but just not all that was on beatport but that is down to my age mainly.

Sorry out do you on the first record bought, I bought Get it on T Rex (still a good record) & Johnny Reggae (maybe not so good well I was young then) - Keith

Haha thats awesome Keith:) … One of my massive regrets is not keeping my Dads 45s as he had loads of 60s and 70s stuff in there.
