sorry this happened to you.

Have you ruled out that your USB storage device is not faulty? If so, how?

USB is fine thanks I was on a very strong WiFi and that didn’t drop either as I checked at the time . It’s obviously a fault with the update as I am not the only one this happened to . Thanks for your reply.

Wifi ? Use multiple usb key/ssd instead

You didn’t explain how you know and it seems like you just wanted to post and vent rather than work with people to troubleshoot.

I think it’s pretty clear that you didn’t read it. All my playlist disappeared. The songs that were loaded disappeared. The song that was playing stopped reverted back to the original open screen showing only my USB. This happened twice so if you think I only want to vent my anger I don’t I think it’s a brilliant piece of machinery, but on this occasion it has let me down badly For the record. I’ve been a DJ for 9040 years.

Ooops 40 years

Thanks but I think the update is the problem as some on here had the same issue thanks anyway

Im currently using 4.0.0 on my machine as it seems stable, i think 4.1.0 is the earliest version you can load to the Prime Go+, my advice would be to roll back to that one if you’re relying on your unit for paid gigs.

Hi thanks I will go back to that thanks again :+1::+1:

No probs, you can download the older firmware from the ‘Engine OS Downloads’ page then use USB to do the update.

Obviously latest version should be rock solid, but when they aren’t i dont think we as DJs can afford to put ourselves in the firing line if its what earns our money.

Totally agree, thanks again. Will do.:smiling_face_with_sunglasses::smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

@Gerard_Oreilly, yes, this is also reported in this thread.

I know it’s tedious, but support needs to be getting configuration and error reports. Does anyone know if the units store and/or send out error reports when they crash?

Hey admin

We’re seeing more and more reasons to justify the forum “anti-bump” feature to be reinstated -could you switch it back on please.

Yes, it has “send diagnostic and usage data” in the firmware update tab for a reason, but I think that requires internet connection for it to be sent over to InMusic dev team’s log servers

For me 4.2.0 is the most stable (as you’ve probably seen me many times posting about that :joy:) on both Prime GO & Prime 4+, which I both use every weekend and extensively, since they have the best amount of fixed issues and new features that are critical for me personally

Same sort of problem here, the unit crashed with version 4.3.1. Luckily it was during a home-session. I have downgraded to version 4.2.0, still most stable for me. But I am not worried, the engineers will fix it and make the software better everytime!
