I still donāt get sorry, you can have sub playlist inside master playlists, different storage media for different events etc, it just seems like more complication having multiple collections.
Honestly, Iām starting to think modern āDJingā is more focussed on spending hours in a piece of desktop software moving files around and tinkering around with preferences rather than mixing music.
Does the DJ world need to get back to basics and move away from this obsession itās got with libraries, waveforms, cue points, marking everything out on a track, organising, re-organising, re-re-organising.
Nobodies ever actually talking about taking 2 pieces of music and mixing them together anymore.
