bruuh - no Pime4 Support?

Come on - being slapped for not upgrading hardware is hard at these prices. This is realy a joke Denon.

If you notice an issue where 4.3.0 will not allow you to log in to Apple Music, please head to Desktop and OS Downloads + Manuals | Engine DJ and downgrade to 4.2, then re-install 4.3.0 using the links on the website or via Wi-Fi on your device. This will fix the issue.

If you have not yet upgraded to 4.3.0, you can use the OTA wireless updates as usual!

Will this make its way to the SC6000?

Apple Music and Amazon Music will not allow hardware to be used that doesn’t have a secure DRM protection chip onboard. This is why these services aren’t available on older hardware that does not have that chip.

New streaming services are great and all (even though I have no use for Apple Music) but when can we expect an overhaul of the desktop app? I love my SC6000’s and X1850 but I avoid doing anything on the app unless I absolutely have to (i.e. creating stems, uploading tracks to my internal ssd). At this point it has fallen behind most of its competitors. Starting to feel a lot like I did when I dumped Traktor due to their inability to implement features their users requested for years.

When you say “competitors” you mean VirtualDJ, Serato, Traktor, Rekordbox et al (i.e. DJ performance software) presumably.

The Engine DJ software is just a librarian for prepping music to export to the standalone devices. What “overhaul” does it need, as a non-performance app?

That could be a long list so i will stick to a few examples…

  • The ability to save/edit playlists created on my player in the software.
  • The ability to use player as a control surface while using the app (i.e. beat grid, cue points, general navigation, etc…)
  • Multiple Library Support

Like I said, I could list many more but these are the main features that keep me from using it. As a bonus (and I know this is a new feature) but having a representation of individual stem content would be nice too.

What do you mean by multiple library support?

Why can’t you just use keyboard shortcuts on your computer to edit grids etc? Or simply do it on the device itself then sync back to the desktop if you really need to use the deck for it?

These honestly sound like fairly trivial things to completely avoid using the software.

I started the on-unit update on my SC Live 4 and it’s now been stuck on the updating / loading screen for several hours. If anyone knows how to fix this without causing issues please let me know. It’s warning me Not to turn it off or remove any drives and I’m concerned it will screw up my usb stick and brick the SC Live if I turn it off.

The bug where track preview is enabled on every startup on the Prime Go+ still hasn’t been fixed despite it being acknowledged and sent to the Dev Team months ago.

What does it take to get simple things like that fixed? Do they even listen to customers?

great. just need an engine for ios and I can die.
TOP

Not really. I’d like to enjoy it.

Good news! As apple music allow you to “download” music to listen without internet connection, is it possible to do that with my prime 4 plus?
