šŸš€ Engine DJ v3.4.0 Now Available - Bluetooth Audio Source & Keyboard Support

Great news , would be lovely if some of the simple things got sorted like being able to star rate a track on the fly , or am I being completely dumb and missed how to do it ?:joy:

No, but it is one of the most popular feature requests, make sure you vote on it.

talvez mas adelante la prime 4 pueda tener actualizaciones a si como la de bluetooth estaremos esperando con ansias

It’s crashing, exporting is broken, and I can’t delete any of the red tracks I’m trying to get rid of. I was simply trying to get my new Soundswitch file onto my sd card and it’s turned into a night of headaches and head scratches.

Hey that’s great news!

I hope you can guys use one pair of tablets for decks with Bluetooth feature. I think Android/IOS has recordbox and beatportdj apps as well to have control over multiple touchscreens. It’s cool if you like bigger size of touchscreens and more external hardwares.

Personally I like to use my phone to play rap lyrics for master out for no-vocal tracks.

Are the M and non-M firmwares actually different or shared between the two player types?

In the back of my brain…I can’t help but wonder. Will Bluetooth tracks eventually be cached with waveforms?

Potentially it will. Someone asked a question regarding scratching with the bluetooth stream, on the DenonDJ instagram post for the 3.4 update and their reply was something along the lines of, ā€œwe don’t currently have this feature, yet!ā€ I saw this referenced on a YouTube video but I can’t find it again, I don’t have instagram either so can’t link or screen grab the comment unfortunately.

Lol, that’s a no in corporate speak.

Depends if you’re glass half empty, or glass half full.

In my opinion, the firmware is different between the M and non-M versions.

There are functions that you have in a non-M firmware that you don’t have on an M firmware, such as jog/platter sensitivity adjustment.

Furthermore, I think that if the firmware were identical, the dev team would simply make a unified firmware that would adapt according to the hardware on which it is installed, but to date there have always been separate downloads for the M and non-M models.

They’re now labeled exactly the same, though.

Was hoping for bluetooth output, especially for the Prime Go - would have made it fully wireless. Does anyone know if the bt chip could function as an output signal in a future update…or is this it you think?

It’s been teased at BT output ā€œcoming soonā€. Most probably in the next version or two.

Thank you, Denon DJ Team! I think between all people being unsatisfied with a feature which was never promoted you surprise all people who appreciate it a lot. I tried it only on my GO not the prime 4+ yet. It’s working very well.

Hello, I have the Mixstream Pro updated to the latest software version 3.4. I’ve managed to play from my phone to the console, but I want to know if there is a possibility of playing via Bluetooth on my Bose sound system. Thank you very much.

thats goint to be amazing
