🚀 Engine DJ v3.2.0 Now Available - Day Mode, Fuzzy Key Mixing, FX Select Menu, Improved Downbeat Detection + More!

No.

Prime4 plus users are being invited to participate in beta tests. Then stems for prime4 plus will be released… and at some point after that (probably 2024 is my complete guess) stems for other primes will be released.

Well that was my point the next major update is stems the sample pool for the beta is limited currently as it is still being tweaked (Denon if you read this make the stems icons larger especially for the devices using the 7inch screens like the Go), Denon has not indicated to my knowledge any other features they are seeking to release (aside from maybe blutooth) that is on par with stems and most likely stems across the board will be released some time next year

Here’s the official thread for the Stems public Beta.

Engine OS 3.2.1 Stems Public Beta 1 for Prime 4 + - PRIME 4+ Stems Beta - Engine DJ Community

And here are some aspects of if that you will find useful to your post.

In daytime mode, the size of the “roll” effect is not visible

That’s not been quantified, there could be other updates before stems - and for some, stems isn’t major (for their workflow or mixing style). Inmusic might add all sorts of extra bits n bobs; the usual mixture of user requests and “straight outta nowhere” feature too… just like we’ve all gotten used to, and appreciating.

Based on what is currently known Denon, is pushing the stems feature by way of its own marketing based on their latest posts on social in conjunction with the p4+ which is why I expressed the view it is the next big update, it may not rank as high for some on the needs/want list but the VDJ, Serato have certainly been pushing stems and Denon/Engine wishes to compete. Bug fix’s and stability updates are always welcome but this par for the course for most software certainly for any software to have longevity. In any case I am a happy Denon user overall and will likely continue to be so based on what Denon/Engine are doing.

Screensaver setting in the menu for 3.2.0 doesn’t seem to work at all. SC6000 x 2, haven’t had a chance to test it on my Prime GO.

As far as I’m aware it doesn’t launch a ‘screensaver’ as such, I believe it just dims the screen down after a period… I’ve noticed it do that on my Prime 2 when I left it alone for a while.

Yep, that‘s its purpose. My Force has a similar feature, though there it also makes the screen looks washed/blurred out in addition to the dimming.

Anyway, it‘s a nifty addition especially for home use. My Control One also disables the OLED screen after ~5min, though that setting is fixed.

Yes. A level of blur and dim.

Flex Gate is AMAZING! This is a HUGE addition in my book! And it can be used in so many ways so it doesn’t even sound like the same effect. Very nice!

FX Touch overlay is SO much better! Agreed!

And yes, I’m sad the system doesn’t save your FX settings. I hope this is something that gets changed.

Screensaver? I haven’t seen this!

My Prime 4 is remembering its waveform layout just fine for me!

Day mode, has already helped me a TON for multiple gigs! Whew!

Great, great update guys!

You can set the timing for the screensaver then just leave your unit untouched for that period and it’ll dim down and blur slightly to preserve the screen.
