Does the DN-X1700 sound card work with Windows 11?

Can anyone confirm if DN-X1700 it’s still compatible with the latest Windows OS? Thanks in advance.

Check this.

Nice one mate! <3

…of course I did check that page before asking here but the 1700 can’t be there because it’s already legacy hardware, I’m asking in case anyone that owns the mixer have tried it and it works in the same way that worked with Windows 10 without being announced.

Not so nice…

Most of time you can use Win10 drivers on Win11 unless MS restricts them. I can’t see that being the case for the DN-1700. InMusic probably didn’t include the DN-1700 for liability (more likely PITA for technical support). IMHO I’d install them and give it a shot, nothing is going to explode.

May want to ask on the FB page and even Reddit.

Best wishes dude.

Better answer this time, thank you so much. I’m asking because I have Macs at the moment so can’t try myself but if the 1700 works with Win11 I’d consider buying a PC for djing with it.

Is it that you want to use Serato with it?

No, it’s not Serato compatible, I wish it was.

Then why are drivers / compatibility important?

Because it won’t work with any OS

The built in sound card hasn’t worked with Mac OS for years. Sadly, I don’t remember if and or what Win OS was the last one it worked with. I have an X1700 that I love but don’t own a windows machine.

Yeah, I’m asking in case someone has tried it with Win11 and it works.

I have x1700 + s3700 setup. Unfortunately W11 is not compatible in a stable way. It sometimes works for 4-7 minutes and then starts to glitch. Also tried linux a few years back, no good as well. After many hours (read: weeks) decided to revert OS.

I have not tried recently, so your attempt may give a good result. If that’s the case i would be eager to know. It’s still a magnificent piece of hardware!
