Hello, I bought a Denon SC LIVE 4 and after a few days the sound in the headphones stopped working. I tried everything—reset and downgrade—but nothing helped.Everything is set up so that the sound should work, but it doesn’t. I want to return it to the seller and get a new one. Is this a problem with every SC LIVE 4 controller running version 4.3.2, or should I wait for a fix?
3.5mm or 1/4 inch jack?
I use the 1/4 inch myself as I find the 3.5mm a bit wonky/crackly on my mixstream pro go.
I tried both jacks and the headphones work as they should. I also tested them on a PC and they work fine. But as I read in the community, it seems to be a software problem with Engine.
Could well be, that’s why I’ve avoided updating past 4.2.
My first mixstream pro go when updating to 3.4 killed the wifi card, luckily I bought it from a shop & it was still in warranty so I sent it back & got a replacement, so far I’ve had no issues with the one I’m using now but like I said I’m staying on 4.2 because it’s stable for me at least.
So I did the update. I tried downgrading about three times and still had the same sound issue. On the community and other forums, people are reporting that the sound stopped working on the Denon DJ SC LIVE 4. It’s sad when you buy a DJ controller for 1300 euros (which is actually a good price compared to the standalone Pioneer at 2300 euros ) and after just a few days you have to return it. I was happy with it until the new update came out. So my fix was to return the controller to the store where I bought it. I’ll probably pay extra for a Pioneer and see how that goes. So that’s how I solved my problem.
