That instantly says it’s the laptop rather than the Prime.
Some laptops are just not right for DJing due to odd drivers or support chips , design etc

Yes.Its not the PRIME.Even MY small HERCULES does the same.Check out my settings right now. With that settings ,i hear the master music from my p/c and my headphones are in PRIME.The sound is perfect from the master, but in my headphones i keep listen the scratches.
You’re supposed to be using the same interface for both master and headphones. Your problem is possibly caused by using two different audio interfaces with different sample rates.
No no this is a test. With that settings ,i hear the master music from my p/c and my headphones are in PRIME.The sound is perfect from the master, but in my headphones i keep listen the scratches.
As the issue is between the laptop and VDJ it’s more likely that your solution will be known on one of those two forums
No i think its the DENON DRIVERS.They’re not updated.
That can’t be the case, as you said that your laptop does the same thing when using a Hercules controller. Denon drivers wouldn’t have anything to do with Hercules hardware (well, brittlewear)
Hello, indeed, the problem is the DENON controller.
I have a recent and powerful PC, and it does the same thing with SC LIVE 4, I have seen in previous answers that it does it with other DENON products.
My conclusion is: DO NOT buy DENON products, I have tried everything, and the problem persists, I have tried other controller (Pioneer) and the problem disappears.
I understand the frustration of colleagues, because everyone buys a controller with Standalone functions that can also work with other software, and it is just what it should do, without pretexts or problems, however, it is not like that. The problems these controllers cause are annoying.
Unfortunately, this is the first time I have purchased a DENON product, and probably the last.
For those who believe that the problem is the computer, you can search the VDJ forum for posts related to problems with DENON controllers, to clear up your doubts.
I regret my purchase and will definitely return to the other brands.
Greetings and success to all!
