Im fairly sure you won’t have been the only person they had in mind when developing this.

Things can still be ‘big’ even if its not something we personally want or need.

I have a login failed error when I’m selecting Apple Music as source after I have authorized Apple Music on my Engine OS.

Do you have the same issue ?

Apparently then, some recent AlphaTheta hardware also has these “special” chips inside, coz they’re getting Apple Music too…

And yes unfortunately Apple Music is limited to recent players and some users are crying or will cry about not having it on the SC5000/6000 and Prime 4 and Prime 2 and Prime Go. PioPioTheta has also released a firmware for the AZ and the Omnis Duo which also integrates Apple Music and there how many users will complain about not having it on the RX 3 and the Opus Qaud and the XZ, CDJ 3000 lol

Yay! Updated everything.

Thank you so much, dear Denon DJ team!

I am based in China and the Apple Music service loading everything normal without errors, but the tracks are not loading, the message is starting with track fetching, then after 5-10 seconds the error message coming: Download Error! I also have paid Apple Music service, so I don’t use the free 30 days promotion, All my Apple computers the service is working as normal, on my Denon SC Live 4 doesn’t loading any of Apple Music tracks.

The Opus Quad not having the chip seems like a massive miss

According to DJWORX - “Expansion of the hardware options is coming. Expect Opus Quad and CDJ-3000 soon as they use the new chipset.”

People are asking on YouTube and the reply from Pioneer is “Sorry, we currently do not have any information on that at this time”…
