Wrong order on cue's imported from Rekordbox memory point

Hi.

I know this is the wrong area, but not allowed to post in Engine DJ software.

When Im importing songs from Rekordbox (where I use loads of memory points), Engine DJ software gets the order wrong. The first memory point in Rekordbox (usually at 1.1) could be in any of the 8 cue points. Memory points being a left to right, jump from one to the other, function in Reckordbox/CDJ’s, I would expect the first memory point to be added to Cue 1 in Engine DJ software.

My guess is that Engine reads the order the memory points were created in, meaning that if 1.1 was updated or created last (or later then others) it ends up further back in the cue order in Engine. This is very unpredictable. Could there be an option to import memory points from left to right, matching lowest timestamp to Cue 1 and so on. Im aware that Pioneer operates with 10 momory point, but only 8 cue’s in Engine, so might be the source of discrepancy. But more predictable to know that the last two memory points are always lost.

Keep up the good work of challenging Pioneer on high end player Denon (InMusic).

Probably because you are a new member or didn’t select a sub-category. Approved and moved to here.

In any case, you’re welcome!

There is no memory cue function in Engine DJ. This is the reason, why it’s not working. Please try for a single track in RB to set hot cues and import it to Engine DJ.

Im aware of that, but you can choose to import either Memory points or Cue points from RB when importing the xml file into Engine. So no, this is not the reason, its a design decision from Denon’s side that is the that is the reason. As I wrote above, I suspect Engine import the memory points in the order they were created/updated, instead of sequentially left to right.
