Windows and mac

Hello,

In windows I have a folders with music organized in certain ways. From that same folder structure i created crates/playlists ( it took ages). Every time I add a song to one of thoose folders i also add to the playlist to “keep it in sync” with the dennon prime 4 controller.

I also have a mac, and the question comes now, how can i sync back from the controller and have the same folder structure in a folder? Is it possible to sync back from the controller (updated from windows) to the mac and have a perfect working copy on the mac? And having the same folder structure i have in windows?

Thanks in advance.

PS Do you guys know any tool that can generate enginedj playlists based on folder structure?

Thanks in advance

In short, the answer is no. When you export to a performance volume, the music will be sent to that performance volume, but it will be organized how Engine wants to do so. Your best bet is to manually copy the music (Aad database) from Windows to Mac.

Drag and drop a folder onto Engine and it will traverse the folder(s), creating a playlist for each directory. that’s exactly how i use Engine tbh.
