The latest update for Windows 11 won’t accept the drivers for the MC4000 on Virtual DJ???
Doesn’t Windows 11 break midi compatibility for a LOT of devices with these updates? That’s a known issue. Advice is to downgrade, I believe.
I am having the same problem with my Denon MC4000 controllers using windows 11. When using the crossfaders the program starts moving other things on the screen, slowing down the playback and not allowing any type of mixing from deck 1 to deck 2. The audio quality is terrible and the songs are stuttering/lagging. Please help! I have 15 more weddings to perform this summer!
It’s incredible that you can’t use the MC4000, which for me is still a fantastic console (I own two of them…). At this point, either Denon releases a compatible driver, or you have to use old PCs…
The MIDI 2.0 updates in Windows 11 should have now reached a point where it’s possible to select (officially) that you don’t want MIDI 2.0
I’ve not seen “Microsoft Pete” for a while but he did explain it all.
The original toggle that Atomix added to VDJ months ago was eventually prevented from working (thanks Microsoft) but now it’s been reintroduced because of the above.
A friend of mine who works with software and I tried everything, but nothing worked... so now I’ve opened a support ticket with Virtual DJ to see if they have a solution.
