Will Engine DJ be DVS compatible?

I can’t see how you would give the sc6000m a signal to use an analogue turntable for the 2nd layer without an audio interface for input.

They have proven that midi is possible with the lc6000 through usb so maybe a Denon version of the rane 12. However this will still make a standard turntable for “DVS” redundant.

Seems all backward thinking to me

I think it could be possible, if denon wants to reach out to the more beginner DJ market they would make controllers that could only be able to work through DVS mode and having engine DJ do that could potentially bring in more people to that ecosystem. And denon has been making really nice products and updates because they’ve been listening to their customers so I can see them making a really nice controller line up. Idk or they could just stick to making mid to high range players lol

You can’t give the sc6000 a signal because there isn’t an input into the SC6000. You would need an interface. It could be possible with the Denon mixer. I covered this in my first reply. Not everyone owns Rane twelves. It’s only redundant if you own both Rane Twelves and analog turntables. That’s not backward thinking

Hi there ! About me, I would also like Engine OS to be DVS compatible or able to be controlled by a timecode signal. Let me explain: whether for dj use or otherwise, this is something that could set Denon/Engine apart from all other manufacturers. they have already started by developing the Stagelinq Protocol which gives an opening to the world of entertainment and events (as Pioneer did with the Prodjlink protocol) I myself am an artificer. we are increasingly using timecode to synchronize pyrotechnics, sound, video and light. It would be a dream if DVS or timecode mode could be integrated into Engine OS directly on a stand alone system like the Prime 4 and the others in the series. This would save me from using a computer with Serato+ Soundswitch and having to switch from controller mode to stand alone mode during the performance. I have never had any breakdowns in performance with my MacBook pro, but I would like to arrive at the following configuration in the future: Prime4 in stand alone with Engine Lightning to control the lights, the DVS to integrate into Engine Os. My MacBook pro would become a master pc which would broadcast the video (Millumin or Adobe After Effect) as well as the Timecode signal with a multi-output sound card to the Prime 4, to the pyrotechnic firing system. They have already integrated Engine Lightning in collaboration with Soundswitch, which is already a very good thing. This is my need.
