hi to all, I wanted to know if it is normal that the Wifi in the P4 can only work if set to 5ghz, because if I connect it to the 2,4ghz it does not connect, and this also applies if I connect with a smartphone hotspot in fact even here , if my phone is connected to the 5ghz network, my P4 connects quietly, while if I move to the 2.4ghz band, the P4 does not see it and therefore does not connect … thanks in advance to who will help me since if I go to the clubs, and I cannot have the 5ghz band, I will then have problems connecting to the streaming services enabled in the P4 such as tindal, beatport soundcloud … thanks again
No, this is not normal, because my P4 is connected to my WIFI network which is only 2.4 GHz.

ERRATA CORRIGE: I did something wrong … on my smartphone, I had not turned off the wifi, so I had only activated the hotspot … while now I have tried the correct use … I have simulated being away from home, so I turned off the wifi, and activated the sim card data line, as is done outside home… then on my P4, he saw the new phone network and connected perfectly !!! now i ask you, how do i know which band is connected to my phone? for everything it works with this new test outside the home and outside my router … so the wifi module of the denon is not broken, right ?? what do you guys say? did it pass the test?
Hey Rob - Sounds like you got this sorted. Definitely making sure your WiFi is on is the way to go.
as I have well described the wifi is always active but it only sees the 5 ghz band or hotspot of my smartphone the data network outside my home
ciaoooo amico mioo!! ti vogliooooooo dare il feedback positivo di risoluzione!! da tecnico quale io sono…come ti dicevo…sono un capoccione testardo.quindi non mi andava proprio giu sta cosa…quindi smanettando smanettando ho trovato un programma ad hoc per sbradizzare il modem ,e cosi magicamente ora, la P4, riesce a collegarsi anche alla banda 2,4 ghz 
!!
