Which analyze option after import from Rekordbox?

Hi. Quick question. When importing playlists from a rekordbox xml it takes all my cues and loops as expected. It is taking the beatgrit as well. But it doesn’t have the waveform. To get it I have to analyze the track in Engine DJ 2.0. That’s ok - but do I use ‘Analyze’ or ‘Re-Analyze’? I don’t want to override the beatgrid information imported from rekordbox. Any advise? Thanks

Thanks mufasa. I will give it a try. Don’t want to go with Auto Analysis as I have 37k tracks in it and prefer doing smaller batches until all is analysed.

No worries.

Yeah 37k tracks will take a couple of hours but it’s much quicker now due to database rework.

I have 75k tracks and a full analysis was complete by morning.

If you have multi core intel eg 8/10 core count …it runs through pretty fast

Analyse - uses bpm, grids from third party libraries if there is on

Reanalyse - fresh analysis (if normal analysis had previously been done)

If you use reanalysis with analysis the first pass will still be like analysis…confused?
