Hey @Vtk_Lanes ,

i’m using several online platforms and i organize it with help of Engine Desktop  :v:.

5

I get my music from artists and labels sending it to me, as well as buying it on Volumo and Beatport. I organize it in Engine DJ.

6

just selected wrongly, I will not recommend anything

7

Traxsource, iTunes, Bandcamp are my 3 main sources.

iTunes for specific searches of music ive heard.

Traxsource, usually the Deep House, House, Lounge music, Balearic, Nu Disco, Jackin top 100s.

Bandcamp i just have a few people i follow, usually beats and breaks people who release 7" records.

8

Djcity, bpmsupreme, soundeo, zipdj…

I’m using:

Beatsource BPM Supreme ZIPDJ Traxsource DJCity

My library is 100% organized and prepared with VDJ, including beatgrids, cues and loops.

VDJ simply offers some really nice features thanks to its scripting possibilities. And especially the beatgrid, including Fluid Beatgrid, is currently something I prefer over Engine DJ’s beatgrid.

I’m basically only using Engine Desktop for the additional STEMS, waveforms and covers.

To be honest, the STEMS are pretty much the only real reason I still need Engine Desktop. :slightly_smiling_face:

For downloading music: Inflyte, Bandcamp, Beatport, Hypeddit.

For organizing music, Year>Genre>Sub Genre for main playlist filtering.

Tags and smart playlists for everything else.

  • Promo Only UK & Europe :100:
  • Inflyte
  • Hypeddit (protip: Google for “site:hypeddit.com [[title]]” for better searchresults)
  • Mastermix (Be aware all music are censored “clean” versions, so not everything can be used in a live performance because it’ll sound like a weird YouTube rip if some of the words are ommitted from the track)
  • and some mailinglists from producers

Hypeddit FTW

I would say anywhere that doesn’t include AI music, but that war is lost.

Hi Florian. I listen to heaps of sets from favourite DJ’s and I listen to George FM in NZ. They have great dj’s at different times. But this depends on your genre. Try Defected radio…

2 vendors I recommend:

  • Qobuz, a streaming service, has also a service selling music files
  • The Beat Junkies record pool, a fixed subscription download service mainly oriented towards hip hop r&b funk soul DJ stuff
