Several times now, when I copy a new folder into Engine OS, in addition to being placed in the folder I select, some of the tracks inside that folder end up being copied to other unrelated folders.
I’m not sure if this is a bug or a database issue, but it’s really frustrating having to search folder by folder to find where the tracks were duplicated.

I went thru a lot of pain to understand Engine DJ. Currently I run VDJ and keep Engine DJ as a back up due to it’s limitations. The best way I found to work with Engine is to split the music in several folders. In my case, I have six folders. This is to avoid to overload the system. and when I do an update to one of the folders I delete the previous folder from the engine library and drop the new one. This force Engine DJ to think is a new folder and upload the modified folder without duplication. I hope it helps, if you have more questions feel free to reach out. It took me almost a year to understand how Engine works and how to go around it’s limitations to adapt to my personal workflows. I still think they can do much better.
