On my Prime 4 with Engine 3.2.0, I discovered some unexpected behavior with the reverse verb effect. Unlike all the other effects, it is routed pre-key lock. So, if the effect is (fully) wet and the pitch fader is not at the zero position, the pitch of the audio is still higher or lower, depending on the pitch value.
Thanks for noting this. If you’d like to escalate this and note it submit it here: Submit a ticket : Denon DJ
Thanks for the quick reply. I just submitted a ticket.
This bug is still present in 4.0.0. As requested by Rob I submitted a ticket, and also sent a video as requested per mail. I never got confirmation that it was listed as a bug though. So I’m bringing it to attention again here
Do you have a ticket number?
Thanks for your reply, Rob. I think it is ticket 291552.
Hi @Rob_Gaudet, could you find the ticket?
Hi @Kwarkgebak
We’re aware of the problem and is logged in our issue tracker. It’s not quite that it’s routed pre keylock, rather it doesn’t reset the pitch tracking when it’s re-engaged. I’m afraid I can’t promise a timeline on this fix at the moment.
It’s not much of a workaround, but reloading the effect will properly reset it to the correct pitch for whatever position the slider is in when the fx is loaded.
Thank you very much for sorting this out! It will get a fix at some point then. Great! Good to know that Denon is aware
Yes, and it looks like Alex and Vince are able to help sort this on a future update. Thanks for reaching out!
