Looking forward to this Juan.

I had a feeling an update was going to drop soon, I felt a disturbance in the force.

Now, where’s all the guinea pigs at before I update my device.

It’s only a 0.0.1 update Andy, I think you’ll be fine

Are you sure it wasn’t something you felt in your Schwartz?

Same, my OG Prime 4 doesn’t work with Apple Music and v4.2 was/is rock-stable for me, while 4.3.2 seems to have caused some issues e.g. with bricked Live 4 outputs. After my upcoming gig, I will give 4.3.3 a try though.

Also…

I felt a disturbance in the force.

I (still) love the dark side! And thanks to @NoiseRiser I just tackled the pretty tricky, but very rewarding (in terms of feel and look) display modification. Couldn’t care less that the Akai Force is de-facto discontinued, like my OG Prime 4 (also released in 2019) it still feels modern and sleek, has aged beautifully.

Now a happy “Force Plus” owner, lol.

Does the Akai sync bpm w/ the Denon units (stage linq)?

Yeah, this is one aspect I like so much about the ecosystem - hybrid options with both lighting/visuals (SoundSwitch, Resolume) and producing (Akai devices). On Pioneer we only have the proprietary ProDJLink and the DJS-1000 is a toy compared to the mighty Force, while being more expensive.

Linking is very easy, especially since both units have a dedicated LAN port (weirdly enough removed on the Prime Go+ and MPC One+, while never being added to the behemoth MPC X - no good reason to cheap out on this helpful port. At least, USB-to-LAN dongles do work)

Anyone got this update over WIFI? I started my Prime 4 yesterday to see if it got the update, but nothing. Said I’m still on latest version.

well by looking at it,did nt mention prime 4 on the list

Improvements and Fixes

  • Concurrent track streaming is now set to 4 tracks for Apple Music supported devices. (Prime 4+, Prime Go+, SC Live 2, SC Live 4, Mixstream Pro Go, Mixstream Pro+)

  • General performance and stability improvements.

That’s a fair point, Apple Music isn’t relevant to the older devices.

My prime 2 has no update.

I’d love some extra performance and stability though. Even on my Prime4

Is the V4.3.3 also for the SC6000?

If I download it with the link from V4.3.3 it is still the Version V.4.3.2 ?

And there is also no auto download in the SC6000 available.
