Using 6000 as production sound card

Hi.

Just beginning to dip my toe into the production end of things.

Since the Rokit 5’s are can be routed through balanced cables, it has the four RCA inputs, and I could also use the balanced mics, it seems to make sense to use the controller as the sound card.

However, I have seen that the Denon’s sound is 16 bit, 48hz, which is not so-called ‘studio quality’.

To my ears, I have never noticed a difference when DJing, but that’s a different animal?

For the producers and audiophiles out there, would this be an acceptable output for my projects using the Denon, and does it make sense to use it.

I’m not doing anything overly complex, instrument wise. Just a condenser mic, keyboards/synth and standard sounds within a DAW.

Any help is appreciated.

At the end a CD is only 16 bit, 44.1 kHz. I wouldn’t mind about bit rates and kHz.
