Usb is a LQH Tech SSD 256gb. When cuepoints/loops etc are made on the prime 4+. It doesn’t save it and says this message when ejecting after the set is done.
How can i fix this? Do certain usbs work best with engine for future ref?

I believe it may not be formatted in FAT32/EX-Fat
It’s formatted in Exfat. So that is not it.
I believe it may be related to format or being visible as read-only by the unit
does fat 32 work only? Ex fat is no good then. It doesn’t let me sync changes in engine desktop os.
Teorically both fat 32 ad ex fat works.
Looks like you external media became read-only - so it can’t write cue points or sync to engine.
i’ll do a set with a usb in fat 32 and see if it syncs changes. Is there a timer on how long you can sync back changes to desktop os? The sync button is greyed out when this usb is inserted a day later etc…
I know nothing of the reliability and history of LQH drives, but when it comes to my music library, my personal recommendation is to use a drive with a proven track record (I’m speaking from the experience of loosing music due to corrupted/failed drives in the past). I’ve had YEARS of reliable use from SanDisk or Crucial.
Just a little feedback from a DJ who’s still feeling the mental scars of music loss.
Hi there, yh i use both of them so that’s good. this is literally the only lqh i’ve got and had it for over a year so far no issues. But i get the same result with sandisk drives when ejecting? It never stores grid info/changes etc. I will try again with sandisk. The sync button is always greyed out when going back to Desktop OS to sync changes back to main database.
